Brian Christopher Rutledge

Lakeland – Brian Christopher Rutledge, 52, passed away February 28, 2021.

Brian was born in Pekin, Illinois on February 11, 1969. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard prior to beginning his career as a broadcast engineer. During his career, he worked for ABC and NBC, and most recently the SVP of Network Engineering at the Chicago Tribune. Brian was a member of the Moose Lodge #912, American Legion and the AMVETS.

Brian is survived by his wife who he has been with for 17 years, Kathryn; and his daughter, Stephanie Anne Rutledge.

A Celebration of Brian's Life will be held at a later date when Covid-19 protocols permit a safe gathering. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in his name to: Shiba Inu Safe Harbor Animal Rescue, 15901 Darrow Road, Vermilion, Ohio 44089.
