Obituary

Brandon Michael Pitts, 46, passed away on February 19, 2026. Born on June 16, 1979, in Salem, Ohio, he was the beloved son of Jackie Pitts Jr. and Shannon Pitts. In his childhood, Brandon moved with his family to Florida, where he would grow up and build the life he cherished.

Brandon graduated from Kathleen High School in 1997. On December 6, 2003, he married the love of his life, Leslie Pitts. Together they built a beautiful family and were blessed with their daughter, Braylee Mae Pitts, on December 3, 2008. Brandon was a devoted husband and a proud, loving father who treasured every moment spent with his family.

He had a deep love for the outdoors and simple pleasures in life. Brandon enjoyed fishing, camping, racing, bowling, and spending time at the shooting range. He had a special passion for playing bluegrass music and dreamed of one day becoming a farmer. His happiest moments were often those spent outdoors or surrounded by friends and family, sharing stories and laughter.

A faithful member of Victory Church, Brandon's faith was an important part of his life. He carried a strong spirit, a kind heart, and a love for those around him that will never be forgotten.

Brandon is survived by his wife, Leslie Pitts; his daughter, Braylee Mae Pitts; his mother, Shannon Pitts; his father, Jackie Pitts Jr.; his sister, Jessica Marse (Bobbie); and his nephews, Ethan and Christopher Marse. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and countless friends who will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Victory Church in Lakeland.
