Betty L. Deeson Lakeland – Betty L. Deeson, 90, passed away May 14, 2024 at Grace Manor. Mrs. Deeson was in Lakeland on August 20, 1933, and remained lifelong resident of the area. She worked for Publix in the print shop for over 25 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed the outdoors, and especially time with her family. Mrs. Deeson was preceded in death by her husband, David Deeson; her parents; as well as her siblings. She is survived by her children; Lenny (Debra) Deeson, Pam (Steve) Whiteley and Teresa (Darryl) O'Neal; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, May 20th from 10-11 am at Gapway Baptist Church, 1705 N. Combee Road, Lakeland, FL. Funeral services will follow at 11 am at the church. Interment will follow the service at Lakeland Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to: One More Child in Mrs. Deeson's honor.
