Barry G. Herring October 14, 1947 - June 7, 2023

Barry Garland Herring passed away Wednesday June 7th, 2023 in Lakeland,Florida. He was preceded in death by his sons James Garland and Stephen Olon. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Brenda, and his grandson James Herring, his brother Mitchell, sister in law Pam (Glenn) Chancey, mother in law Betty Frier. Also, part of his life is two extended family members Wade Steelman and Misty McKendree. Barry served in the United States Army with the 1st Infantry Division. He completed 2 tours in Vietnam. After his military service he was employed by Alpha Resins for 25 years. He retired as a Realtor for Coldwell Banker. Barry's family shared a love of St. Augustine Beach where they vacationed ever year, from he and Brenda's honeymoon through this past year. His latest pastime was playing golf in his new golf community. Memorial service will be Tuesday June 13th, 2023 at 11:00 at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home Serenity Chapel.
