Barbara "Granny" Richardson Owens, beloved Mother, Granny and Friend, Passed Away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 79, Her loss is profoundly felt by everyone that loved her.

Barbara "Granny" was born in Lakeland, FL, on July 8, 1944, to Zader and Earnest Richardson. She is survived by her loving sons Shelby "Shawn" Owens and Tommy Earnest Owens. Barbara "Granny" was also preceded in death by her loving siblings Rudolph Richardson and Ralph Richardson.

Barbara "Granny" was known for her loving heart, and always enjoying family and friends with a good adventure or beach trips, she was never one to sit idle. She retired from the School Cafeteria at Palm Lake Elementary after 20 years. Her home and heart were the staple of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by grandchildren: Matthew Owens (Matt), Ashley Owens Cooper, Caitlin Owens Miller, Peyton Owens, Chelsea Owens, Savannah Lynn, Ethan Lynn; and 8 great grandchildren.
