Bootsie Tyner Smith

Bootsie was born in Lakeland, Fla. She lived her whole life on or with addresses on Swindell Rd.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jack Smith, her son Ronnie Smith. She is survived by her son Donald "Stevie" Smith (Eunice), her nieces Rita Hotchkiss (Gene) Cissy Turbeville (Larry), Cindy Clarity, Paula Williams (Chris), and Jerry Sue (J.R), Nephews Larry McCraney (Becky), Jim Bibby (Becky), Ricky Bibby (Hope), her Grandson (Chris) Smith and great-granddaughter Emily, and her special caregiver Diane Boully.

Bootsie loved her flowers, her crafts, her church and above all, shopping trips with Rita.

She worked her whole career in the medical field. She will be remembered from the Children's Clinic with Dr. Heath and Dr. Redd. She was the comfort so many moms & dads needed. She retired from Watson Clinic.

Visitation will be held at New Home Baptist Church, Saturday July 12th, at 10AM. Service to follow at 11AM
