Barbara Sue Davis, fondly known to many as “Pat,” passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, in Lakeland, Florida, just a few days shy of her 77th birthday. Born on July 24, 1949, in Caneyville, Kentucky, Barbara’s early years were shaped by the close-knit surroundings and values of her birthplace.

Throughout her life, Barbara brought warmth, kindness, and unwavering support to her family and friends. She was the beloved wife of Garland Davis, whose memory she cherished dearly after his passing. Barbara was also a devoted mother and grandmother, finding tremendous joy in watching her family grow and thrive. She is survived by her son, Jason McCollum, who carries forward her strength and gentle spirit. Barbara’s legacy continues through her grandchildren, Zachary McCollum and Tabethia Hedrick, who were a source of boundless pride and happiness for her.

Barbara’s love for her family extended deeply to her siblings. Her surviving brother, Jack Cline, remains a testament to the enduring bonds they shared throughout life.
