The Chinich family would like to inform you that our beloved Barbara Kamis Chinich passed away on 4/2/2024. For those who knew and loved Barbara as a mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, and as a friend, remember her passion for life and her family. Barbara was born in Cleveland and graduated from Western Reserve University where she met and eventually married Dennis Chinich in 1967. Barbara's first job in 1966 was teaching the third grade in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Her strong desire to help others continued in 1979, working for 20 years as a nurse in Idaho while simultaneously raising her family. Barbara moved to Lakeland, Florida in 1999 where she and Dennis enjoyed retirement by traveling worldwide and spending time with loved ones.

While Barbara is no longer with us, the positive impacts she had on her family, will live on forever. Barbara is survived by her two sons Bruce and Bradley, two sisters Mary Jane and Roberta, two grandchildren Andrew and Victoria, as well as many other family members that will miss her very much.

A service will be held at Temple Emanuel Cemetery at 10am on Saturday, April 6th, located at 4620 US Highway 98 South, Lakeland, FL 33812.
