ARTHUR W. WEEKS, Sr., 86 Art's Plumbing LAKELAND - Arthur W. Weeks, Sr., 86, died Feb. 2, 2015, at Lakeland Hospice House of heart failure. He was born August 8, 1928, in Vermont and moved to Lakeland in 1972 from Connecticut. He enlisted in the Army Corps of Engineers in 1944 and was the owner of Art's Plumbing for over 50 years. Art was a member of Knights of Columbus 2505 for 33 years, First Degree 8/23/80 - Fourth Degree 10/11/81. He served as Grand Knight and Past Grand Knight, also Faithful Navigator with Fr Mendoza 154. He loved to play music. This was one of his greatest joys. He always had cookies for all the dogs. He is survived by his companion Carol R. Rahn; 2 sons and a daughter plus 5 grandchildren. He had a good and full life and he will be missed very much. Now he has gone home to his Lord. A visitation will be held Sunday from 2 - 4 at Gentry-Morrison Southside. A funeral Mass will be held Monday at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
