Arnold A. Preston Jr., 77, went to be with the Lord in the early morning November 11, 2023. Arnold was born in Lansing, MI on October 14, 1946. After graduating from Sexton High School, Arnold joined the United States Navy and served during Viet Nam on the USS Cascade; he proudly served until 1969. Arnold married the love of his life, Carolyn, in 1967 and they raised their family in Lansing, MI. Arnold was a proud member of the Sexton High School marching band and was able to continue his passion of music by playing the trumpet and baritone in the Parker Memorial Baptist Church's band for 22 years. After retiring from Sparrow Medical Supply in 2010, Arnold & Carolyn moved to Lakeland, FL in 2017. Arnold was an avid animal lover, he also enjoyed fishing, cheering for his Michigan State Spartans, and being involved in his church.

Arnold is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn, his much-loved dog, Chico, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Webster Memorial Baptist Church at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made online to the Webster Memorial Baptist Church.
