Lakeland-Allan R. Yeaple was received into the arms of Jesus September 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Allan was born on October 14, 1937 in Suffern, NY and was a resident of Polk County since 1958. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. A 31-year teacher at Polk County Schools, he received the Teacher of the Year at Caldwell Elementary in 1987. Allan enjoyed cruising, his family and driving his golf cart.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Yeaple; son, Dan(Lisa) Yeaple; daughter, Laura (Ray) Holbrook; Brother, Bob Yeaple; grandchildren Brittany (Scotty) Herman, Mallory (Ryan) Woodhouse, Justin (Kierstin) Holbrook, and Chris Yeaple. 5 Great-Grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Agnes Yeaple; sister, Anne Sherwood and 1 great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, October 13 at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 1820 Co Rd 540A, Lakeland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA, 5850 Brannen Road S., Lakeland, FL 33813
