Alice Arnold LRMC Lakeland – Mrs. Alice Marie Arnold, age 50, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 16, 2015, following a short illness of cancer. She was born in Valparaiso, IN and moved to Lakeland 26 years ago from Ashville, NC. Alice worked as a registered nurse for Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church at The Mall. In her spare time, Alice enjoyed making specialty cakes, smoking meats and studying the Bible. She is survived by her husband, David B. Arnold with four minor children, sons Jeremy R. (Kaylie) Arnold and Christopher D. (Melinda) Arnold with grandson, Andrew R. Arnold; mother, Mary Ann Schrock, all of Lakeland; sisters, Cindy (Roger) Kent of Ashville, NC, Karen (Will) Stebbins, Laura (Ronnie) Horton, Gloria (Bob) Bedford, all of Lakeland, Veronica (Dan) Bean of Wesley Chapel, FL; brothers, Don (Jan) Schrock of Hiawassee, GA, Dean (Jeanette) Schrock of Hendersonville, NC; father, Clemens A. Schrock of Lakeland; aunt, Janet (Al) Keim of Nappanee, IN; uncle, Larry (Marla) Deter of Milford IN; a number of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, with special acknowledgement of nephew Anthony Schrock of Lakeland, FL and nieces Reannah Horton of Lakeland, FL and Candice (John) Phillips of Ashville, NC. Visitation will be Monday, 5:00 – 8:00pm at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, 11:00am at First Baptist Church at The Mall, 1010 E.
