James Will Goodwin, Sr., 79 Lakeland – Mr. James W. Goodwin, Sr. went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 18, 2021. He was born in Columbus, OH. James retired after many years as a sales director with R&L Carriers. He was an active member at Lake Gibson Nazarene Church in Lakeland where he served as a board member, the Finance Committee, a Head Usher and Sunday School Teacher. James was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra “Debbie”. Survivors include his wife, Janice; children, James, Jr., Robert “Bob”, Deanna “Dee”; sister, Becky; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 – 2:00pm at Lake Gibson Nazarene Church in Lakeland. Services to begin at 2:00pm. Interment will take place in Columbus, OH.
