December 13, 1947 - April 24, 2022
In loving memory of one of God's chosen angels, my wife, and your friend, we sadly announce the passing of Iris Marie Campbell. Iris was born in Plant City, Florida on December 13, 1947. She passed away on April 24th, 2022 at Good Shepherd Hospice, Lakeland, Florida. Iris spent all her life in Polk County. She attended Mulberry High School. Iris gave her heart to Jesus at an early age and served God faithfully until her death. She was an ordained minister and was president of Women Aglow for many years. Iris founded Covenant Bride of Christ Ministries on September 1st, 1998. Iris was committed to serving the body of Christ and had a heart for evangelism. Her joy was to activate the love, hope, and faith of Jesus Christ to equip others with strategies for successful daily living. Iris has served as a teacher and preacher with ministries to women, prisoners, seniors, and children. She also led intercessory prayer teams and Bible ministries. Iris was a wife, mother, grandmother and a spiritual mother to many who are now actively doing kingdom work. Iris is survived by a loving husband, Frank, sons Jeff and Matt Collins, sisters Bobby Hester and Joan Warnock, stepchildren, Frank Campbell, Jr., Laurel Ann and Kevin Walsh, Debbie Lynn and John Bulcher and nine grandchildren. Iris fought a food fight but the disease that has taken so many lives was too great to overcome. That disease was cancer. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Good Shepherd Hospice, 3450 Lakeland Hills Boulevard, Lakeland, Florida 33805, attention: Foundation. Iris requested no services.
