I was sorry to hear about Gary's passing. Through my high school days and all my years working at the school, the Duells have been such a big part of JCS and North Creek. My condolences to Jan, Greg, and Susan.

I LOVED shop class with Mr. Duell. I wonder how many students still have the products we made in that class? I have an AC/DC converter that still works, some 40 years later. There were corn cob holders and paperweights and beautiful wood pieces. I have many fond memories of that room in JCS. I was just recently thinking of Mrs. Duell and French class, which was another one of my favorites. I just returned from a fabulous visit to Quebec City, and my reading knowledge of French is still great. I could understand some of the spoken, although much of it was too fast for my brain, now. Fabulous lifelong skills!
