Gloria Neiger Bushong flew into the hands of the Lord on December 20, 2019. She was born in Miami, Florida, Dade County in 1940, the daughter of Charles Edwin Neiger and Naomi Lucille Boyd Neiger. She is the widow of Russell Keith Read Obituary
Gloria was my first best friend when I moved to Miami in 1948. We were pals until she moved to Texas. When she moved back to Florida we attended Coral Gables Senior High School together. For years we sort of lost touch until about three years ago when we talked about what we had done with our lives.
I am very sorry to hear of her passing, and send my condolences to her family and friends. She will be sorely missed.

Since 2012, when I first volunteered in a political campaign, Gloria seemed to be active, in some way, in the running of every campaign office. In 2016, it seems, she was the glue that daily held the campaign office together.
I knocked on doors once with her. I regret I did not work more closely with her in a campaign office. I also wished that I had gotten closer to her as a person.
As far as I observed her, Gloria exemplified drive, great work ethic and integrity.
Though I intensely wanted to keep her much longer, in this world, with us, her faith in her Heavenly Home was inspirational to me—and one more reason to appreciate her.😍
Gloria was a dedicated volunteer worker for IPGS and Polk County GOP. I will miss her.
