I feel very blessed to have met Lucy, although very late in her life. I was her chaplain (Cornerstone Hospice) and had the joy of sharing space and time with her. In my twenty-plus years of ministry, I have never met a more patient and gracious soul. In her final years, Lucy met with the utmost grace and strength what I believe was one of the most testing of experiences a human could endure. She left with strength to spare and to inspire. Lucy came to Chapel in the Grove for several years also. She was full of life and liked to dress in co-ordinating colors which always gave a happy feeling. She was a good friend to us there. Rhonda Nessl
