My dad loved to tell stories. One story that I remember him telling over and over again was the time him and I went fishing at Longboat Key while the bridge was under construction. Dad and I were out in the water fishing when I noticed a construction boat floating towards us. I yelled for dad to tell him. Dad then stopped the boat from drifting further, then he yelled and got the attention of the workers for them to come get the boat. During this same trip I got attacked by a crab and a manatee came right up to us. Dad cherished this memory and now I always will too 💙
