Being one of nine children, I believe we all loved it when we could have one-on-one time with Mom. I remember one such instance, when I rode with Mom to the Avon lady's house to pick up some Christmas presents she had bought for my sisters and me. I still remember to this day what it was -- little dog-shaped perfume bottles! (I loved them!)
I remember walking down the road to buy eggs from a neighboring farmer. I remember always going on walks, and even training for a marathon and jogging with Mom! She always made sure all nine of us children were always clean and well-groomed -- she even cut our hair! Not going to church was never even an option. We just went every Sunday. And we prayed as a family every night. Mom's faith has stayed with all of us as well and has been the most important gift imparted to us by God, through our mother.
I just know that you are sorely missed, my Momma. All of us still here wish we could be there with you in the presence of the Eternal God, Jesus Christ. But it is our comfort here, knowing that you are there with Him in Paradise and that we will see you soon!
