My family just found out of Suzies passing.It's August and am heartbroken as is the Banner family. She was always a peppy lady with a happy way. She was always so nice with stories and food. She was also our go to parking spot for the Apple Festival for years! Thank The Lord for that last year so my mom could have easy access with her issues walking. I worked with Suzie at the hospital in 1975, traveled a lot to TN with her starting in 1991, worked with her at Watson Clinic. She was a good friend, a sister I never had. She was a storyteller, a poet and she was one of a kind. I will miss her terribly in the years to come. Trivial Pursuit will not be the same without her, but she will always have a place at the table. I’m so happy she had the few years with Paul, but they weren’t enough. RIP dear friend. Suzie and I met in a group of women (DJ Adrienne Crissy are a few of the names I remember) who shared stories, support and friendship. Suzie shared her poems and I saved several of her collections.
So sorry for her passing and the family’s loss. She was a sweet soul and good friend. I will always remember her fondly. RIP Suzie.
