Forrest "Bob" Willome

I have many fond memories of going up to New Hampshire to visit Uncle Bob and Aunt Martha and my cousins while growing up. I particularly loved going to the Newick’s Lobster House in Maine with the whole Willome gang. Weddings and christenings and graduations went by. Life moves fast. Sorry we couldn’t see you at Mom&Dad’s 40th a couple years ago but know you would have come if you weren’t taking good care of Aunt Martha. Hope you’re resting peacefully now Uncle Bob. -Elizabeth (Dave’s daughter).

Bob and I were born 11 months apart and very competitive early on. We shared (not alway willingly) everything; one bedroom, one car, one bike, one wheelbarrow (spaceship). And, of course, we both picked on Tom. We grew up in a small house that somehow never seemed small. We laughed and fought like any brothers do. Even though we were close in size he could put me in my place when he wanted to. Bob joined the Air Force in 1962 and, unfortunately, we never lived in close proximity after that. We always stayed in touch and did get together on occasion but not as often as we should have. I especially enjoyed going with him to his 45th and 50th South Hills High School reunions. Thanks Big Brother, I miss you.
