About 8 years ago my then 6 year old was playing on my phone and 911 was called. Bigford was the responding officer. That day started a friendship between 2 boys ages 4 & 6 and a LEO. He took the time to ride the green machine with them and just knew he needed one for his boys. My youngest insisted that Bigford took his green machine and give it to his son. In turn, Bigford return about a week later with a nerf gun. That act of kindness filled a positive place in my children. We are going to miss him and his influence on my boys.
